A leading International Company working in the field of crude oil processing and transportation is seeking qualified candidates to fill 2 vacant positions as follow:
Position Title: General Inspector (Two Positions)
Location: Office
Reporting to: Section Head Assets Integrity Management, Technical Services Department.
Scope of Work:
- Carryout Inspection and monitoring of project activities to ensure compliance to company procedures, specifications and standards.
- Develop, implement and maintain project related documentation including quality control procedures, inspection test plans, risk assessments as per specification, applicable code and standard and compliance to HSE company policy.
- Provide input on repair techniques, materials selection, inspection and testing requirements.
- Monitor & participates in inspection including visual inspections, electronic inspections by using x-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or electronic crawler inspection methods.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. or 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the inspection of a pipeline, tanks vessels, processing pipes, and rotate and static equipment.
- Working knowledge of Oil and Gas industry Codes and standards related to quality , safety inspection, and asset integrity i.e API, ASME & ANSI, etc.
- Experience of ‘in-service’ plant inspection and NDT in an offshore environment.
- Certified Welding Inspector.
- Certified on API 510 for pressure vessels, API 570 for piping and API 653 for Tanks are preferable.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Computer literacy.
