Duties

  • Innovation and Creativity:

Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into creative compelling print materials and digital experiences to meet customers’ needs.

  • Final concepts approval:

Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and meet clients’ needs. This also includes presenting, or overseeing presentation of final concepts, and obtaining approvals for deliverables.

  • Client management

Serve as a liaison between the Accounts Management and creative team and between the creative team and individual clients

  • Prioritising work and resources:

Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production teams or agencies.

  • Team Supervision:

Supervise a team of graphic designers and copywriters in the strategic development of messages and deliverables.

  • Brainstorming sessions:

Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.

  • Content Strategy:

Mange the creation of creative content strategy for both small-scale or large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology.

  • Budget Management:

Setting and meeting budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses, ensure cost effectiveness

  • Reporting:

Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution, to track creative jobs flow and propose corrective action when needed

  • Others:

Take accountability and ownership of any other tasks or projects assigned to them.

Working Relationships:

  • Internal: Operations & production team, Account Management team, Finance Department, Strategy Department and other internal functions
  • External: Advertising Agencies and other suppliers.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in an in-house creative department or design firm.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker
  • knowledge in-depth knowledge of the principles and aesthetics of design, brand development and multichannel marketing models.
  • Must have leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to inspire the creative team to give their best
  • Must have strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Must be able to create and produce graphic designs
